Moorage 

Lahaina has a small vessel harbor enclosed by a rockbreakwater, and an extensive roadstead with many private fixed moorings and areas that are open for anchoring.  The small vessel harbour and loading dock are very actively used by commercial, tour and recreational boat operators.  During Lahaina's historic time as a major whaling port, hundreds of vessels would be anchored in the roadstead.  Vic-Maui makes arrangements for slips, moorings and anchorage - boats should not make advance arrangements with Lahaina Harbor.
