Vic-Maui Qualifying Races - The 2022 PACIFIC NW OFFSHORE IS ON!
by Event Committee, December 11th, 2021
Corinthian Yacht Club of Portland, along with its title sponsor Schooner Creek Boat Works, is proud to present the 46th edition of the Pacific NW Offshore Yacht Race. The race will challenge your sailing skills, navigation ability, tactical skills, and offshore endurance. One hundred ninety-three miles long, this race from the mouth of the Columbia River up the Washington coast and down the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Victoria, BC will test the competitiveness of your boat and give you a chance to face true offshore racing. The race continues to be a great way to qualify for the Pacific Cup and the Vic-Maui International Yacht Race and to get your boat north for Swiftsure 2022 International Yacht Race and summer cruising.
Come join us in the Port of Ilwaco at our new host city, attend the pre-race Skipper’s Meeting and other events on the Long Beach Peninsula as we get ready to head out the Columbia River to the totally unique starting line at Buoy 2 just off the Oregon coast.
There’s nothing like it! Be there!
Race: May 12-15, 2022
All race and venue information is in the Race Information.
*Activities will be consistent with the State of Washington Covid Restrictions in place at the time.
